What they long for most? wren always most wants/needs a Cause. hers mostly boils down to 'protecting people'. this is exactly as paternalistic as it sounds. in a small, persistent way tho, she also wants to give up and say it's out of her hands and maybe take a nap forever in a lowkey death wish kinda way. but that's quitter talk!!
Can Galadriel read their fears and sorrows? loss of control frightens her deeply: she doesn't believe that she can trust others to do the 'right' thing (by her conception of it) & she's very scared of losing herself. she worries that everything she's done has been for nothing. also: marionettes.
Can Galadriel sense the nature of their heart? wren cares a lot, but she's an authoritarian asshole who does nasty stuff for a Greater Good. she favours order and the establishment (even as she distrusts it), and believes in looking out for the little guy (whether they like it or not). she's not a zealot, likes facts, and works to restrain herself emotionally. that said there's the sense of a lot of controlled anger, and everything she does is sparked by personal attachment in the very beginning. she believes strongly in the individual capacity to make a difference, and is not religious.
